Equalizer for Samsung Galaxy phones
Every Samsung Galaxy phone already has a basic equalizer. Before you install anything, try it: open Settings > Sounds and vibration > Sound quality and effects > Equalizer. Menu names can differ slightly between One UI versions.
When the built-in equalizer is enough
If you only want a little more bass or a little more clarity, the built-in presets and sliders are free and work with all apps. Many people need nothing more.
What AUREL adds
- 25 or 10 bands with an overall curve view, instead of a handful of sliders.
- Bass control from 60 to 110 Hz and a speaker mode that reduces very low bass on the small phone speaker.
- Output gain with a peak limiter and automatic headroom, so boosts are less likely to distort.
- 18 detail presets, one-tap combos for Music, Speech and Games, and your own saved profiles.
- A built-in player to compare “Before” and “After” on your own audio files.
Honest limits
AUREL's system-wide mode uses Android's audio effects. It works where the phone allows device-wide effects or where an app shares its audio session; some apps, including YouTube, are not affected. On most phones the system equalizer has fewer bands than AUREL's 25, so the curve is smoothed. If you also use Samsung's own sound effects, switch them off while testing so you hear one equalizer at a time.

Before you buy
- AUREL is installed from an APK file, not from Google Play. Android 9 or newer.
- It changes sound only. It is not a hearing aid. Keep the volume at a comfortable level.
- Try it on your phone during the 7-day trial before you are charged; the 14-day right of withdrawal also applies in the EU.
